Civil Engineering Intern – Water (Summer 2025)

Your Opportunity

Stantec is offering an exciting summer internship for 2025 in Portland, Oregon, for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineering Intern. This role will provide an invaluable experience in water infrastructure projects, where you’ll support our regional team through marketing systems, database management, proposal preparation, and other essential activities. Key Responsibilities

• Assist with marketing systems and database management, including drafting and proofreading project and personnel profiles.
• Support proposal production by gathering and tracking information, and managing forms and subconsultants.
• Provide integral support to the regional team in proposal closeout activities such as updating profiles and uploading images.
• Collaborate with different team members to manage simultaneous marketing assignments in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• A current or recent Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or in progress).
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (INDD, Acrobat, Photoshop) is a plus.
• Previous internship or work experience is preferred, but not required.
• Exceptional communication, writing, and organizational skills.
